> Enriching from the Signals page

From the Signals page, enrich the records a signal flagged. Useful for triaging a single signal's output — want contact details for everyone the Keywords rule fired on yesterday? Run enrichment scoped to that signal.

2 min read·Never reviewed

TL;DR: Open a signal's detail page → select captures → bulk action Enrich. Scoped to records this signal captured, with the same waterfall as elsewhere.

When to use this entry point

Three cases:

  • Reviewing a specific signal's output. You enabled the Keywords signal for a new topic — want to see contact details for the first 50 captures before deciding if the signal is worth keeping.
  • Catching up on a high-volume source. A signal fired on 500 records overnight. Pull up the signal page, select the qualified subset, enrich.
  • Re-enriching after editing. You changed the workspace's enrichment defaults. Want to back-fill enrichment on records a specific high-conversion signal already captured.

How to do it

  1. Open Signals → click the signal you want to scope to
  2. Scroll to the Capture feed on the right side of the signal detail page
  3. Click the column header checkbox to select all captures, or filter first (by date, by sub-rule) then select
  4. Bulk action bar appears → click Enrich
  5. Confirm scope (X records) and estimated credit cost
  6. Click Run — waterfall executes across all selected records

The action shows progress: "Enriching 50 / 250..." with the count updating. You can navigate away during the run; it continues in the background and the records' enrichment fields update as each completes.

Why scope by signal vs by audience

Signal scope is useful when:

  • The signal IS your filter — you don't have an audience defined yet
  • You're auditing a single signal source quality
  • You want different enrichment depth for different signal types

Audience scope is useful when:

  • You want continuous enrichment as new members join
  • You want different enrichment channels per motion

You can combine both. Enrich a signal-scoped batch once, then build an audience that uses has_enriched_work_email = yes to filter to only the reachable subset.

Credit accounting

The same credit math applies as elsewhere. The confirmation dialog shows:

  • Records selected
  • Records with at least one missing channel
  • Estimated credit cost (sum of expected enrichments)
  • Your current credit balance

If the estimated cost exceeds the balance, the action prompts you to cap at affordable-budget. The system enriches the highest-score records first (within the signal-scoped selection) until budget is exhausted.
