TL;DR: Open an audience → click Enrich missing contacts. Waterfall runs across all members for the audience's configured channels. Drives the Reachable % column up. Costs credits per channel filled.
When to run
Two main moments:
- At audience launch. You just created a new audience. Members were qualified before enrichment was prioritized for them. Run bulk enrich once to bring Reachable % up before turning on destination sync.
- After expanding enrichment scope. You edited the audience to enable LinkedIn URL alongside work email. The existing members have email but no LinkedIn yet. Re-run bulk enrich to fill the new channel.
How to do it
- Open the audience from the Audiences table
- Click the
Enrichmenttab in the audience detail - Review the enrichment scope (which channels are enabled for this audience)
- Click
Enrich missing contacts - Confirmation dialog shows: count of members, count missing at least one enabled channel, estimated credit cost
- Click
Run— waterfall executes against all qualifying members
The action runs in the background. The Reachable % on the audience updates as enrichments complete.
Behavior on add (continuous)
Once you've run bulk enrich at audience launch, new members entering the audience get enriched automatically — the audience's enrichment scope drives an auto-enrich on entry. You don't need to keep clicking the bulk button.
The auto-enrich behavior is on by default; can be disabled per audience if you want to control enrichment manually.
Budget caps
Bulk audience enrichment respects two caps:
- Workspace credit balance — if estimated cost exceeds balance, the action prompts to confirm a partial enrichment (top N by ICP score)
- Audience credit budget (optional, per-audience) — set a hard cap on credits this audience can spend on enrichment in a rolling window (e.g. 5,000 credits per 30 days). Useful when an audience is large and you want to control burn
Re-enriching for verification
After 4–6 weeks of an audience running outbound, some emails will have bounced. To verify deliverability:
- Filter audience members by
bounce_count > 0(a custom field set by sequencer integrations) - Bulk action
Clear enrichmenton work email for those members - Bulk action
Enrich— the waterfall re-runs and may surface a different (working) email from a different provider
This is the "enrichment refresh" loop. Most workspaces run it monthly on their active outbound audiences.
